Becoming a teacher was always something that I thought of doing. As everyone know becoming a teacher comes with a lot of cons. When you first begin to tell people “I want to become an education major” you constantly hear negativity. In high school I changed my career goal not because I didn’t want to do it any more but because I let other be influence my decision. Yes, becoming a teacher comes with a ton of cons and I think we are all aware of what those are but it also comes with a lot of pros. I want to be a teacher not just because I love kids or because you get the summer off. I want to be that person that when my 3rd grader is all grown up and they think back on who made a difference in their life I want to be one of the images that pops up. I know it’s impossible to have that affect on every student but if I can just impact one; it’ll be worth it.
